Klyp is an iOS app to download and organize public X (Twitter) videos on your iPhone. Everything runs locally — we are not a hosting service.
You are responsible for what you download. Only download content you have the right to use (your own, public domain, with authorization, or fair use).
Sensitive content requires age verification. To comply with Brazilian Law 15.211/2025 (ECA Digital), we require Apple-verified adult age before processing videos marked as sensitive on X.
Account deletion is final. No recovery — think twice before deleting.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a contract between you and IPCOM Tecnologia Ltda. (referred to as "we", "us", "our", or "Klyp") concerning your use of the Klyp iOS application (the "App") and associated services, including the infrastructure available at klyp.uk (collectively, the "Service").
By downloading, installing, creating an account, or using Klyp, you represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms take effect on the date above and supersede any previous version.
2. Who we are
Klyp is developed and operated by:
IPCOM Tecnologia Ltda.
Brazilian Tax ID (CNPJ): 06.163.889/0001-04
Rua Paraguai, 605, Vivacoworking
Alto Alegre — Cascavel/PR — ZIP 85.805-020
Brazil
Klyp is a client application that lets you download to your iPhone videos that you yourself request by providing a specific post URL. How Klyp retrieves a video depends on the type of content (detailed in section 7). Main features:
Downloading public videos from the URL you provide. For ordinary public posts, Klyp resolves the video through the public media endpoints that X itself exposes for public content — no login is required, and Klyp reaches only what X already serves publicly to anyone. For videos that X marks as sensitive or restricted, Klyp instead uses the official X API (X API v2) together with authorization from your own X account (see section 4.2). In neither case does Klyp bypass any access control on the source platform.
Automatic reframing (Smart Reframe) using AI that runs exclusively on your iPhone (Apple Core ML, Vision, Speech).
Automatic caption generation on-device, without sending audio to third parties.
Album organization for downloaded videos.
Sharing via Photos, the iOS Share Sheet, or other apps.
Klyp is not:
A hosting provider: we do not store videos on our servers. Content is delivered directly to your iPhone from the source platform and stays there.
A social distribution provider: there is no feed, timeline, recommendation, direct messaging, public profile, comments, search of other users' content, or any discovery mechanism. Klyp only processes URLs you paste manually or share through the Share Sheet.
Affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by X Corp., Twitter, Apple Inc., or any other third-party platform.
Because of this architecture — a read-only client, without hosting or distribution — Klyp operates analogously to a specialized browser or feed reader. The decision of which content is available to you is made by the source platform (X), according to your X account settings and X Corp.'s Terms.
4. Eligibility and minimum age
4.1 General minimum age
Klyp is rated 17+ on the App Store. You may create an account and use the Service only if you are at least 17 years old and have legal capacity to contract under Brazilian law (Brazilian Civil Code, art. 5º).
If you are under 18, use of the Service requires assistance or consent of your legal guardian, in accordance with art. 14 of the Brazilian Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) and the Child and Adolescent Statute (Law 8.069/1990, art. 18-A).
4.2 Age verification for sensitive content
In compliance with Brazilian Law 15.211/2025 (ECA Digital, known as "Lei Felca") and the Brazilian Civil Internet Framework, Klyp restricts access to videos marked as "possibly_sensitive" by the X platform. Verification follows a multi-layer model, with the Apple platform acting as the primary verifier:
App Store gate at download time: as a 17+ rated app, Klyp is only available for download to adult users verified by the App Store in Brazil — a combination of the age declared on the Apple ID, account history, payment methods, and the system "Confirm You Are 18+" prompt implemented by Apple in 2026 to comply with Brazilian regulation.
In-app confirmation via Apple DeclaredAgeRange: when you attempt to access sensitive content, Klyp asks iOS for the current device's age range and requires bracketMin ≥ 18. If the returned bracket is below 18, access is denied regardless of any other configuration.
Authenticated X account connection (OAuth 2.0), to ensure the X platform authorizes delivery of restricted content.
Active paid Klyp Pro subscription, in accordance with the licensing rules of our X API integration.
If you do not meet these requirements, Klyp will not download or process sensitive videos — the app shows a screen explaining what is missing. Technical details of the verification model are in the Privacy Policy — section 5.
4.3 On-device content screening
Regardless of X's markings, Klyp runs an on-device sensitive-content classifier (a computer vision model running locally on your iPhone) on every downloaded video before it is saved to your library. If the classifier detects sensitive content and your age has not been verified as 18+, the download is discarded and you are asked to confirm you are 18 or older — through a free Klyp account — to access it; if you do not confirm, the content is not saved.
This screening happens entirely on your iPhone — no video is sent to our servers or to any third party for analysis.
4.4 Absolute prohibition on minors
Klyp is not intended for users under 17 years of age and does not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are a legal guardian of a minor under 17 who created an account on Klyp, write to hello@klyp.uk and we will delete the account immediately. See Privacy Policy — Minors.
5. Your Klyp account
5.1 Account creation
You can create an account in two ways:
Sign in with Apple (recommended) — uses your Apple ID, no additional password.
Email and password — you provide a valid email and set a password.
By creating an account, you represent that the information provided is true, current, and complete. You agree to keep that information up to date.
5.2 Account security
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your password (when applicable).
All activity that occurs under your account.
Immediately notifying Klyp at hello@klyp.uk of any unauthorized use or suspected compromise.
5.3 One account per person
Each person may keep only one active account on Klyp. Duplicate accounts, accounts created in violation of these Terms, or accounts used to circumvent previous suspensions, may be terminated at our discretion.
5.4 Account deletion — irreversible
You can delete your account at any time inside the app, under Account → DANGER ZONE → Delete account. Deletion is permanent, immediate, and irreversible:
We do not keep recovery backups.
We cannot restore the account, even by email request.
To use Klyp again, you will have to create a new account from scratch.
Your Klyp Pro subscription (if any) remains active until expiration — Apple manages the billing cycle. Cancel renewal separately under iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
See the Privacy Policy — Retention for details on what persists after deletion (only what is legally required: tax records for 5 years).
6. Klyp Pro (subscription)
6.1 What is included
Klyp Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks advanced features, including connecting your personal X account, accessing age-restricted content, exporting at maximum quality, and other features described in the app.
6.2 Free trial
The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial. During the trial you have full access to Pro features. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, Apple automatically charges the full annual price.
The monthly plan does not include a trial — billing happens at sign-up.
6.3 Billing and renewal
All subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit / the App Store.
Billing is charged to your Apple ID account according to the plan selected.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annual), unless canceled in advance.
To cancel renewal, go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Klyp. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid — you keep Pro access until then.
6.4 Pricing
Current prices are displayed inside the app and on the App Store. We reserve the right to change prices. Price changes take effect:
For new subscribers: immediately upon publication.
For existing subscribers: at the next renewal cycle, with at least 30 days' prior notice via in-app notification or email (if available). If you do not agree with the new price, you may cancel renewal before the next cycle.
6.5 Refunds (operational)
Payment processing for Klyp Pro subscriptions is handled exclusively by Apple through StoreKit / App Store. Klyp does not have access to your payment method and does not issue charges or refunds directly. Therefore, the primary channel for refund requests is Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Klyp commits to:
Supporting the request with Apple: upon receiving a support contact, we provide applicable evidence (Service defect, downtime, improper charges) to help Apple decide favorably on your request.
Refunding directly in specific cases: when a Service defect, prolonged malfunction, or duplicate charge is verified and Apple has not reversed it, Klyp issues the refund directly (via Brazilian PIX, bank transfer, or equivalent), under the CDC.
6.6 Right of withdrawal (Brazilian CDC art. 49)
Under art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, in contracts made outside the commercial establishment — which includes digital subscriptions — you have the right to withdraw within 7 (seven) calendar days from contracting, with immediate refund of any amounts paid, monetarily updated.
To exercise this right:
Request the refund from Apple first at reportaproblem.apple.com, citing withdrawal as the reason (Apple processes directly when within the window).
If Apple denies the request even within the 7-day window and there is statutory entitlement, write to hello@klyp.uk with the transaction ID (under Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → Purchase History). Klyp will refund directly within up to 10 (ten) business days of confirmation.
The right of withdrawal applies only within the 7-day window and does not cover later cancellations — for those, simply cancel automatic renewal under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
7. Third-party content (X / Twitter)
7.1 No affiliation
Klyp is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or approved by X Corp., Twitter, or any equivalent platform. The names "X", "Twitter", "Tweet", "Post", and related marks belong to their respective owners.
7.2 Compliance with X and delegation of eligibility
Klyp accesses content on the X platform only at your explicit request, from URLs you provide, and on the principle that every decision about which content is available to you is made by X Corp. and by your own X account settings. Depending on the content, one of two access paths applies:
Public content (the default path): for posts that are publicly viewable, Klyp resolves the video through the public media endpoints that X itself exposes for public content — the same kind of surface used to embed public posts on third-party websites. This path requires no login and reaches only content that X already serves publicly to anyone.
Sensitive or restricted content: this is never available through the public path. To reach it, Klyp uses the official X API (X API v2) with OAuth 2.0 authentication of your own X account. Without that authentication, the X API does not deliver the content to Klyp, and there is no other way for Klyp to obtain, host, or redistribute it. Delivery of restricted content therefore depends on your own X account settings (including the "view sensitive content" option in X privacy preferences).
In both cases, Klyp accesses only what is already available for the request you make: it does not circumvent access controls, does not retrieve content the source platform withholds from the requesting context, and does not obtain credentials by alternative means.
Because of this architecture, primary responsibility for content availability and classification rests with the source platform (X Corp.). Klyp is merely the read channel through which you access content that was already available for your request — publicly, in the default case, or, for sensitive content, to your own authenticated X account.
7.3 Content remains the author's
Any video, image, or text made available through X remains the property of its respective authors and is subject to X's Terms of Service. Klyp grants you no license over third-party content downloaded through the App. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of any downloaded content respects the original author's copyright and other rights.
7.4 Availability
The availability of videos depends on the X platform and may change without notice (deletion by the author, account suspension, change of visibility, API changes). Klyp makes no guarantee that videos available today will be available tomorrow, and is not responsible for such changes.
7.5 User representations and warranties
By using Klyp to download any content, you represent and warrant that, for each download:
you hold the right or authorization necessary to access and download that specific content, without circumventing any technical or access controls;
your access complies with X Corp.'s Terms of Service and, for sensitive content, occurs through your own authenticated X session;
you will not use the downloaded content in any way that infringes copyright, image rights, or any third-party rights; and
you meet the age required for the content accessed, and are at least 18 (eighteen) years old for sensitive content.
You are solely responsible for verifying these conditions before each download. Klyp records your acceptance of these Terms as proof of consent, as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Copyright and intellectual property
8.1 User content
Videos you download via Klyp remain the property of the original author. Klyp claims no rights over such content. You should only download videos that:
You created and published yourself.
Are in the public domain.
You have express authorization from the author to use.
Are within fair use / citation limits provided by Brazilian Copyright Law (Lei 9.610/1998) — personal, informational, educational, or critical use.
8.2 Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for how you use downloaded videos. In particular, do not use Klyp to:
Commercially reproduce third-party content without authorization.
Redistribute copyrighted content (post on other networks, sell, monetize via ads).
Remove credits, watermarks, or attribution indicators.
Present third-party content as your own.
8.3 Extrajudicial notice channel and cooperation with authorities
If you are a copyright holder and identified misuse of your content facilitated by Klyp, or if you are a victim (or legal guardian of a victim) of rights violations (including non-consensual intimate content, image rights violations, offenses to dignity, or offenses against children and adolescents), use our extrajudicial notice channel:
klyp.uk/takedown — initial triage within 24 (twenty-four) hours from receipt of the notice, as required by Brazilian Law 15.211/2025 and by the Brazilian Civil Internet Framework (Law 12.965/2014, art. 19 §§ 3 and 4, under the interpretation set by the Brazilian Supreme Court in June 2025).
Cooperation with authorities: Klyp cooperates with competent Brazilian and international authorities within legal limits. In particular, we maintain a direct channel with:
Public Prosecutor's Office (federal and state) and Brazilian Federal Police (especially regarding child and adolescent offenses, art. 240 et seq. of Brazil's Child and Adolescent Statute).
SaferNet Brasil and Disque 100 (reporting of human rights violations).
NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) — in cases of detection of child sexual abuse material, Klyp reports to NCMEC in addition to Brazilian authorities.
ANPD (Brazilian National Data Protection Authority) in incidents involving personal data (LGPD art. 48).
When legally required (court order, Public Prosecutor's request within the limits of art. 13-A of the Brazilian Code of Criminal Procedure, or other legal basis), Klyp may retain, preserve, and provide pertinent data for the period required by the request.
8.4 Klyp trademarks
The "Klyp" name, logo, domain klyp.uk, and other distinctive signs are owned by IPCOM Tecnologia Ltda. You may not use these marks without prior written authorization, except for informational reference to the Service.
9. Prohibited and sensitive content
9.1 Absolute prohibitions
Klyp strictly prohibits the use of the Service to process, store, or share:
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualized content involving minors. Detection triggers immediate account termination and notification to competent authorities (Brazilian Federal Police, SaferNet, Disque 100), in accordance with arts. 240 to 241-E of the Brazilian Child and Adolescent Statute.
Non-consensual intimate content ("revenge porn"), under Brazilian Law 12.737/2012 and art. 218-C of the Brazilian Criminal Code.
Apologia for terrorism, genocide, attacks against life, or incitement to suicide / self-harm, especially targeting minors, under Brazilian Law 15.211/2025.
Human trafficking, trafficking of persons, or organ trafficking content.
Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability (Brazilian Law 7.716/1989).
Material that violates applicable Brazilian laws, including cybercrime statutes (Laws 12.965/2014, 12.737/2012, 14.155/2021).
9.2 Defense in depth
Primary control over which videos reach Klyp belongs to the X platform itself (which decides what to deliver for each request). Even so, as an additional voluntary layer, Klyp implements defense in depth:
Objective Apple age verification (DeclaredAgeRange) before processing videos marked as sensitive — see section 4.2.
Automatic on-device screening via a computer vision classifier on every downloaded video — see section 4.3. Videos classified as sensitive in non-verified contexts are deleted immediately, with no retention.
Account suspension or termination for users that violate this section, at our reasonable discretion, with or without prior notice, depending on severity.
These layers complement — they do not replace — X's own controls and Apple's App Store mechanisms (17+ rating, screen time restrictions, Apple ID parental controls).
10. Acceptable use
In addition to the prohibitions in section 9, you agree not to:
Use Klyp for illegal, fraudulent, or public-order purposes.
Attempt to access, modify, decompile, or reverse engineer non-public parts of the Service (except to the extent authorized by Brazilian law).
Distribute viruses, malware, or malicious code.
Interfere with the operation of the Service (DoS attacks, vulnerability exploitation).
Circumvent technical limits, age verification systems, access controls, or licensing.
Automate app use (bots, scripts) beyond natural user interactions.
Share your account credentials with third parties or sell access to your account.
Use Klyp to collect information about other users without consent.
Submit content to Klyp that is illegal, defamatory, fraudulent, offensive, or violates third-party rights.
Violations may result in temporary suspension, permanent account termination, and, depending on the case, communication to authorities.
11. Privacy
Handling of personal data is described in detail in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. By accepting these Terms, you also represent that you have read and agree with the Privacy Policy.
In summary:
Your videos never leave your iPhone — we do not upload them to our servers.
We collect only the minimum: email, Apple ID, IAP transaction, and X token (if you connect).
We do not sell data and we do not train AI on your content.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms periodically — for example, to reflect changes in the Service, in legal obligations, or in market practices. The date at the top of this page always indicates the latest revision.
Material changes (those affecting rights, obligations, or billing) will be communicated at least 30 days in advance, via in-app notification or email if you have an account.
Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree, you can terminate your account before the effective date.
13. Suspension and termination
13.1 By the user
You can terminate your account at any time, as described in section 5.4. Termination is final and irreversible.
13.2 By Klyp
Klyp may suspend or terminate your account, with or without prior notice, if:
You violate these Terms, especially sections 9 (Prohibited) and 10 (Acceptable use).
There is reasonable suspicion of fraud or abuse (including trial abuse, multiple accounts, circumvention of blocks).
The Service is discontinued at our discretion (with 30 days' notice by email).
Required by legal, judicial, or administrative order.
13.3 Effects of termination
After termination:
Your access to Klyp ends on all devices.
Your Pro subscription, if any, is handled per Apple policy (renewal stops; access continues until the paid period ends, unless serious cause).
Within the limits permitted by Brazilian law, Klyp is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except those that cannot be legally waived (notably those arising from the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code).
Without prejudice to the above:
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against attacks, or compatible with all iOS versions, iPhone models, or usage scenarios.
We do not warrant that videos available on X today will be available in the future.
We do not guarantee specific results for automatic reframing, generated caption quality, or sensitive content classification — these features depend on AI models and may produce imperfect results.
Scheduled maintenance, system updates, and changes to third-party APIs (Apple, X) may cause temporary unavailability, without constituting contractual breach.
15. Limitation of liability
15.1 Consumer relationships (Brazilian CDC)
In consumer relationships governed by Law 8.078/1990 (Brazilian Consumer Protection Code), Klyp's liability follows the applicable legal regime in full, without contractual waiver or limitation of consumer rights.
Without prejudice to the statutory regime, to the extent permitted by law:
Klyp is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential damages, lost profits, or data loss that are a mediate consequence of the use or inability to use the Service (art. 403 of the Brazilian Civil Code applied by analogy).
Klyp is not liable for misuse of the Service by you — including downloading or redistributing third-party content without authorization, violating copyright or image rights, or breaching laws applicable to your personal use of the videos.
15.2 Non-consumer relationships
In relationships that do not qualify as consumer relations (e.g., professional, B2B use), Klyp's total aggregate liability for all claims related to the Service, in any case, is limited to the total actually paid by you to Klyp in the 12 (twelve) months prior to the triggering event.
This limitation does not apply to:
Cases where Brazilian law does not allow limitation (e.g., willful misconduct, fraud, or violation of mandatory legal obligations).
Negligent breach of data protection obligations under Brazilian law (LGPD, art. 42 et seq.).
16. Indemnification
In cases of willful or bad-faith use of the Service by you, you are liable for direct damages caused to IPCOM Tecnologia Ltda. and to third parties, under applicable law. This covers, in particular:
Willful breach of these Terms, particularly the absolute prohibitions in section 9.
Intentional violation of laws applicable to your use of the Service.
Intentional violation of third-party rights (copyright, image, privacy, trademarks) using the Service as the means.
Fraudulent or unlawful use of the Service.
In judicial or administrative proceedings arising from your willful or bad-faith conduct, any awards of court costs, procedural expenses, and attorneys' fees will be set by the competent authority under applicable law (art. 85 of the Brazilian Code of Civil Procedure).
17. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, excluding conflict of laws rules.
17.1 Venue in consumer relations
For disputes characterized as consumer relations (CDC), the forum of the consumer's domicile is elected, under the guarantee of art. 101, I of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. This guarantee is non-waivable.
17.2 Venue in other relations
For relations that do not qualify as consumer relations (e.g., professional, B2B), the forum of the Comarca de Cascavel, State of Paraná, Brazil, is elected, with waiver of any other, however privileged.
18. General provisions
18.1 Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and other referenced documents, constitute the entire agreement between you and Klyp regarding the Service, superseding any prior understanding.
18.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by competent authority, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
18.3 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
Klyp may assign these Terms to third parties in case of merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or asset sale. In such cases:
The assignment will be communicated at least 30 (thirty) days in advance via email registered to your account and/or by prominent notice in the app.
Before assignment takes effect, you may terminate your account free of charge. If you hold a paid Klyp Pro subscription in force, you are entitled to a proportional refund of the amount corresponding to the period not yet enjoyed, upon request through hello@klyp.uk.
The assignee's processing of personal data will observe the applicable legal basis (LGPD), with the same purpose, or new consent as applicable.
18.4 Waiver
Failure to exercise any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
18.5 Notices
Notices to Klyp must be sent to hello@klyp.uk. Notices to you may be sent by email (registered to the account) or by in-app notification.
18.6 Languages
This is the English version of these Terms. A Brazilian Portuguese version is available at /termos. In case of interpretive discrepancy, the Brazilian Portuguese version prevails, considering that the controller is a Brazilian legal entity and the elected venue is Brazilian.
18.7 Terms required by Apple (App Store)
Because Klyp is distributed through Apple's App Store, the following terms also apply. In case of conflict with the other provisions of these Terms, these prevail solely with respect to distribution via the App Store:
Parties to the agreement. These Terms are entered into between you and IPCOM Tecnologia Ltda. only, and not with Apple Inc. IPCOM, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
License. The license granted for the App is limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable, restricted to use on Apple-branded products that you own or control, in accordance with the Usage Rules of the App Store Terms of Service.
Maintenance and support. IPCOM is solely responsible for maintenance and support of the App. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services.
Warranty. IPCOM is responsible for any warranties for the App. In the event the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the App's purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
Product claims. IPCOM, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, failure to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection.
Intellectual property. In the event of any third-party claim that the App infringes that party's intellectual property rights, IPCOM, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claim.
Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Third-party beneficiary. Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
